Kim Prevost

Kim Prevost is the founder and principal strategist behind Rudel Resources, a woman- and veteran-aligned consulting firm that brokers tech, talent, time, and trust across the industrial and manufacturing sectors.

With over two decades of hands-on experience in business development, manufacturing systems, and operational consulting, Kim is known for her no-nonsense approach to solving real problems for real businesses. Her expertise spans software selection and implementation, workforce optimization, embedded consulting, and the design of sustainable support models for scaling companies.

Kim began her career in ERP in 2004 in industrial equipment software, and branched out to consulting in 2017, where she advised manufacturers across the U.S. on how to streamline operations, navigate digital transitions, and avoid costly project missteps. Through this experience, she identified a critical market gap: companies needed more than a software vendor or a staffing agency—they needed a partner who understood their pain points and could deliver fast, flexible, and functional solutions.

Kim built Rudel Resources to fill that gap. Under her leadership, the firm has become a go-to ally for small to mid-sized manufacturers looking to modernize without losing momentum. Known for cutting through noise, getting to the root of operational inefficiencies, and assembling expert teams, Kim operates with the unique combination of empathy, expertise, and execution.

A respected voice in the manufacturing space, Kim also contributes regularly to industry publications, facilitates peer roundtables, and advises on workforce trends and modernization strategies. She is also the editor of MEP Magazine and actively supports ecosystem partnerships that uplift the industrial community.

When she’s not leading client strategy or growing her national network, Kim lives in Texas with her blended family of seven children and three grandbabies, where she juggles business, parenting, and community leadership with humor and heart.
