About the Role

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, managing transactions, and supporting basic accounting functions. This role works closely with ownership and operations to ensure accurate reporting and smooth financial processes.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger entries

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

Reconcile bank and credit card statements

Process invoices, payments, and expense tracking

Assist with payroll processing and recordkeeping

Prepare basic financial reports for internal use

Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation

Support day-to-day administrative and financial tasks as needed

Requirements

Eligibility and Compliance

  • Degree in Accounting or applicable experience and references

  • Eligible to work in the United States

  • Ability to pass a background check

  • Ability to pass a drug screening

Technical Experience

  • Experience with bookkeeping or accounting in small business environment

  • Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar tools

  • Understanding of basic accounting principles

    • Maintain accurate and timely financial records

    • Communicate clearly with ownership and team members

    • Support financial organization and reporting

    • Handle sensitive financial information with discretion


    Location Requirement

    • Must be located in or near Conroe, Texas

    • Ability to work on-site as needed


    Preferred (Not Required)

    • Prior experience in manufacturing or product-based businesses

    • Experience supporting payroll and tax preparation processes


    Work Details

    • This is a contract position with the potential to go full time.

    • Full-time or part-time based on company needs
